Mobile Medical Unit celebrates one year of community care

September 8, 2026

The Mobile Medical Unit is vital community resource for the Minneapolis community. The mobile clinic helps us address gaps in health care access by meeting people where they are and connecting them with resources, particularly individuals affected by the opioid crisis, experiencing homelessness or those who are uninsured or underinsured.

Over the past year, the Mobile Medical Unit has had more than 4,000 community encounters and over 900 medical visits.

Hear from Stephanie Graves, a Senior Public Health Program Manager in Maternal Child and Adolescent Health, who speaks about how residents have been supported through low-barrier medical services and assessments.
