Special cleanups of extra waste

Overview

You can pay us to come pick up more garbage than you are allowed to set out weekly for pickup.

1. You must submit an application at least 5 days before the requested cleanup date. 
2. You must have all materials at the curb or alley line by 6 a.m. the business day before the day of your cleanup.
   • We'll send a foreman to verify we can collect all items set out.
3. If approved, the cleanup will take place on or after the requested cleanup date. 
   • We'll try to schedule the cleanup for the day you ask for.

Cost

• Special cleanups have a minimum fee of $100 but are billed at $181 per hour.
• After the cleanup, we'll add the fee for the special cleanup to your utility bill.

• You must be the utility bill payer to make the request. 
• You must include a copy of your valid state-issued ID to verify you're the utility bill payer.

• Contact a private hauler or cleaning service.
• Bring waste to the City's South Transfer Station drop-off site.
• Bring waste to a recycling drop-off or a landfill.
