Project overview

The City of Minneapolis is planning to rehab approximately 1,458 feet of storm sewer pipe. This pipe is located beneath 16th Avenue South and Nokomis Lane, between 58th Street East and Edgewater Boulevard. Construction is planned to begin in January 2027.

The existing storm sewer pipe is aging and has reached the end of its useful life. The project will rehab the pipe using a liner. This is a trenchless method that creates a new pipe within the existing pipe. This rehab will extend the life of the storm sewer and helps make sure it continues to function properly for years to come.
