The City will improve traffic safety near three public schools to make walking, biking and rolling to and from school easier. This is a Safe Routes to School project.

This project will add safety improvements to Pleasant Ave S and 49th St. The project area is near three public schools.
Project goals:
- Improve comfort and safety for students walking, biking, rolling and taking public transit to and from school
- Create calmer streets for users of all ages and abilities
- Improve access to schools and neighborhood destinations
- Address traffic safety needs at intersections
